Strawberry foxgloves

£2.50

Digitalis mertonensis

Spires in the perfect shade of dusty pink

I adore these. Fat, slightly flattened bells in crushed strawberry colours, these soft blooms have a brush of speckles and a copper tinge to their edges. If they like your soil and climate, they’ll be perennial. If not, they’ll still self sow.

If you save the seed, they will come true. Wonderful for bees.

Perennial, but easily grown as a biennial so follow the growing guide here.
