Niwaki florist's snips

Every florist needs good snips.

My favourite ones came from New York, but they’ve been getting a bit loose because I’ve been cutting woody stems with them when I couldn’t be bothered to go and find my secateurs. I have learned my lesson, I promise. But it sent me on the search for the best snips that could be had. Turns out, predictably, they are made by Niwaki. These Sentei garden scissors are not only gorgeous, they are perfectly balanced in the hand, pleasingly weighty but nimble, sharp as sharp, and the perfect length for proper flowers.
