A beautiful, white native wildflower with balloon pods behind the petals
I had grown bladder campion for years around my favourite bench in the field before I realised that it is as beautiful in a vase in the house as it is in the ground. This wildflower has perfect white petals and a soft blush balloon pod. It does have a rather sprawling habit in its first season, so if you would like to use it in arrangements then cut back at the end of the first year, mulch with a good compost, and the second year stems will be gloriously long and elegant. The beautiful branching stems can be a little brittle, so handle with care.
